Carson Salyers is a character mentioned in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. He is one of the highest members on the ATC board of directors.
Monolith Timeline[]
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin[]
Carson Salyers is the chairman of the Board of Directors of Armacham Technology Corporation. It's shown that he is extremely disappointed with Genevieve Aristide, certain that she has completely compromised all of Armacham Technology Corporation's operations in Fairport, not to mention the possible global repercussions of releasing Alma Wade from the Vault. It is also revealed that Aristide alone ordered the Origin Facility reopened, going behind the board's backs to do so. This was most likely the catalyst to having Colonel Vanek's forces storm her penthouse.
He also has a dark sense of humor, telling Aristide to expect her official "notice of termination" shortly. He appears to have a cool demeanor under pressure, as shown by the way he speaks calmly as the business operations in Fairport fall to pieces. With Alma and Michael Becket trapped at Still Island and Colonel Vanek along with most of his ATC forces dead, his plans have been changed and what he plans to do next is unknown. However, given that the ATC forces present were apparently trying to contact for backup, it is likely that Carson (and the Board in general) still have forces available if they wish to keep trying to cover their tracks.
F.E.A.R. 3[]
Although Carson Salyers is not mentioned at all in the game, it's likely that he, along with the board of directors of Armacham, ordered the additional mercenary deployments including the newly introduced cyborgs Phase Caster and Phase Commander in Fairport. Once again facing devastating public relations nightmares and casualties, it remains unknown what plans Salyers has in his mind, presumably wanted to eliminating all the people that opposing him to obtain Alma and her Third Child. However, the operation failed after Point Man and Paxton Fettel got to her on time just before the Armacham forces arrived.
