Kim Mai Guest is a voice actress of European and Vietnamese descent, who is fluent in both French and Italian. She has appeared in over one hundred voice acting roles.

Background[]

Guest landed her first acting gig at the age of 4 when she played a talking mouse in a school play, however, her career did not officially start until 1991 with the Italian film Where the Night Begins. Her first video game appearance was in the 1995 video game, Warhawk.

Since then, she has lent her voice to several well recognized video game series, including appearing as Mei Ling in the Metal Gear Solid series, Mayu Amakura in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, Miku Hinasaki in Fatal Frame III: The Tormented, Mai Hem in Perfect Dark Zero, and Xian Mei in Dead Island.

Besides just voicing video game characters, Guest has also been involved in several several television shows and films. Her voice has appeared in .hack//Liminality, .hack//SIGN, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Ben 10, Ben 10: Alien Force, Code Geass, Chill Out, Scooby-Doo!, Choose Your Own Adventure: The Abominable Snowman, Dead Space: Aftermath, Geneshaft, G.I. Joe: Renegades, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Marvel Anime and Rocket Power.

F.E.A.R. 3[]

Guest appears in the 2011 horror-action video game F.E.A.R. 3 as Jin Sun-Kwon, a member of the F.E.A.R. team who aids the Point Man in his quest to stop the birth of Alma Wade's third child.

Trivia[]

  • Guest had to use the pseudonym Kim Nguyen between the years 1997-1999 due to SAG stipulations.
