Replica Recon Soldiers are the first Replicas you engage in combat and they're first replicas to be seen, appearing throughout the South River Wastewater Treatment Plant. They are significantly weaker than the other Replica soldiers you'll face later in F.E.A.R., able to take much less damage and also having slightly worse aim. They also do not use special weapons, such as the 10mm HV Penetrator or ASP Rifle.

Replica Recon Soldiers also appear in F.E.A.R. Extraction Point and F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate. Being the weakest Replica unit, they are once again present exclusively during the beginning missions.
